The coffee is very good. But delivery was late by 2 days. I understand it isnt Bellofattos fault, but it wasn’t optimal for my first purchased product. And I was surprised that a Kentucky-based company is shipping coffee from CA. I will purchase again and hope for more efficient delivery.

Thanks for the review, Douglas. I'm glad you enjoyed the coffee!

I sincerely apologize for it being two days late; that isn't the first impression we wanted for you, and we're pulling the tracking to see where that shipment slowed down.

We're a Kentucky company, but we curate rather than roast. Every coffee and tea we carry is one we drink at home first, and each order is roasted to order at the roastery that does that particular coffee best, then shipped straight from them. Your beans left the roaster days fresher than anything that would have sat in a warehouse in Louisville waiting on us. These are relationships we've built and manage carefully, and part of what we've negotiated is pricing that often comes in under what you'd pay ordering the same bag direct from the roaster. I hope that helps explain the California shipping location!
